Colorado Real Estate Forms Deskbook is a comprehensive guide to commonly used forms for real estate transactions. This book is authored by some of Colorado's foremost authorities on real estate law, each selected based on their expertise in the particular subject matter to which their chapters pertain. The Deskbook contains several of the Colorado Real Estate Commission forms, as well as many other forms used day-to-day by real estate practitioners, complete with annotated Notes on Use and comprehensive commentary. Chapters are written not just as a “fill in the blank” guide for a form, but with the intent to be a useful resource in the substantive areas related to a particular chapter.  

This class will discuss practical uses of forms from the Deskbook pertaining to contracts, leases, easements, and promissory notes. The newly revised Colorado Real Estate Commission's Contract to Buy and Sell Real Estate will be dissected and explained, with emphasis on areas of particular importance to real estate practitioner. Leases will be examined, including both residential and commercial leases, as well as leases for apartments and condominiums. The class will also provide an overview of easements and promissory notes.
