Who are the Children? Practical Responses to Revisions to the Probate Code

Co-sponsored by the CBA Trust & Estate Section

Trust & Estate Section CLE Luncheon Series

Program Description

This program will discuss practical responses to the amendments to the Colorado Uniform Probate Code that became effective in 2010 (UPC III). UPC III changed the definition of the parent-child relationship, thereby changing the rules for distribution of intestate estates and the distribution of class gifts in wills and trusts, such as devises to children or descendants. The program will focus both on considerations in preparing estate planning documents and administering trusts and estates.

Don't Forget:  The T&E Luncheon Series is also available via live Internet webcast, direct to your desktop!
