Ethics Pitfalls in Common Transactions
This program will explore the application of Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct 1.6, 1.7, 1.9, and 1.13 to common corporate transactions and the ethical conundrums that frequently arise during these transactions. Presenters Charles Ciaccio and Chad Williams will discuss the ethical pitfalls and liabilities that confront corporate lawyers in “intermediary” transactions, joint shareholder and entity representations, entity representations involving changes in control, and a number of other common transactional scenarios.
