We are lied to hundreds of times daily (but you know that as a lawyer!). This half- day program will help you recognize when answers might be deceptive, plus give you additional techniques to help you drill down to the true answer in a client interview, deposition, mediation or trial.

Your presenter, Doug Cash, is rich with practical experience with more than 27 years of law enforcement experience and hundreds of interviews. He will discuss the causes of deception throughout an interview, where duplicity originates, forms of communication, stress response states, and the differences between deception and lies.

You will want to take notes as Doug Cash guides you through:

- Identifying the differences between interviews and interrogations
- Subtle differences between deceptions and lies
- Five common interview methods and how they work in practice
- Non-verbal behaviors, how to spot them, and what they mean
- Interview contamination and how to avoid it
- Discerning text bridges and other verbal cues

Please note that the home study will be ready approimately 2-3 weeks following the date of the live program.
