Advanced Electronic Discovery: Technology for a Virtual World Out of Stock
Quantity
eDiscovery can be voluminous and overwhelming. Let this program break it down into digestible pieces, and help you focus on the relevant technology. Start the day with a solid understanding of key eDiscovery terminology. Learn what to do (and not to do) when negotiating electronically stored information (ESI) and how to handle 26(f) conferences. We’ll cover predictive analytics, Office 365, and dive into what you need to know about ephemeral messaging and ESI that goes beyond email, looking at mobile phone data, Slack, and more.
• Hear from experts like Professor Maura Grossman, and Honorable Ronald Hedges, Former U.S. Magistrate Judge (D.N.J.), Dentons US LLP
• What do you do with ephemeral (disappearing) messages?
• Understand Microsoft Office 365 and be prepared for your client's needs and questions in the world of remote work
Home studies will be available approximately 2-3 weeks following the live program.

Virtual Meetings and Ephemeral Messages – Thinking About Preservation, Discovery, and Loss
The pandemic has made virtual meetings ubiquitous. At the same time, so-called ephemeral (or “disappearing”) messaging apps that can be used for, among other things, business purposes have proliferated. These communications technologies, raise significant issues about preservation and discovery of content and spoliation for loss. This presentation will consider these and other issues involving virtual meetings and ephemeral messages.
