This one-day course will provide Colorado practitioners an in-depth look at the current Colorado Medicaid eligibility rules, including what constitutes income and assets for Medicaid purposes, the gifting rules, how to calculate a transfer penalty, and what gifts are allowed without incurring a penalty.   Attendees will also learn basic Medicaid planning strategies as well as pitfalls to beware of when engaging in this type of planning.

Having watched and assisted with her father's passing 11 years ago, Jan has the compassion, understanding and the ability to address the hard questions that arise for the elderly.
