Back by popular demand – the first Elder Law Basics program since 2020!
Considering the growing population of older adults, this program is essential for all practitioners to better serve our community. The sessions have been curated to contain the most salient information related to the varied topics covered, which include estate planning fundamentals, advising families along with fiduciaries, and understanding Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income, and Social Security Disability Insurance .
This program also offers an extended session concerning guardianships and conservatorships that provide practical guidance for pre- and post- hearing issues. Finally, the day concludes with a comprehensive ethics review addressing the representation of individuals with diminished capacity in the elder law field and beyond.
Home studies will be available 2-3 weeks following the live program.
