Program Description:
Forensic science has come a long way in recent years. What began as fingerprint, ballistics and blood spatter evidence has evolved into DNA profiling, digital forensics and forensic chemistry. In the investigation of a crime, forensic techniques have developed in countless areas, including art, insects and even our mobile devices. It is a complicated discipline.
As criminal lawyers, we are often called upon to understand and litigate complex areas of forensics. This program not only illustrates how things have changed, but also includes thought-provoking discussion about the ethical and societal implications of these changes.
