Shari Lutz emphasizes valuation engagements and litigation services work. Valuation engagements include “business divorce,” triggering events in buy-sell agreements, compliance valuations, including valuation of intangible assets for financial statement reporting and fair value measurements, wealth transfer, marital dissolution, and litigation where valuation is an issue. Litigation services include estimating damages, lost earnings or lost profits in a variety of disputes. Significant engagements and experience include valuations for “business divorce,” including litigated and non-litigated buy-outs and serving as a joint expert. Her experience also includes valuations for estate tax, gift tax and income tax, including valuations of family limited partnerships; oil and gas partnerships; medical and professional practices; and operating companies, from start-up to maturity, in various industry sectors.

Ronald L. Seigneur is managing partner of Seigneur Gustafson LLP, where he specializes in management coaching/mentoring, succession and exit planning strategies, business and intellectual property appraisal, litigation support services, financial reporting and taxation. Ron's diverse practice includes management consulting and strategic planning, with over 25 years of experience advising closely held and family ownership and management, including six years as the COO/CFO for a 50 attorney Denver law firm. He has published over 80 articles, and has developed and taught many courses on these issues. Ron has significant experience working with complex valuation, commercial damages, forensic accounting, and related litigation support matters, with significant experience as a testifying expert in numerous jurisdictions. Ron has served as court appointed Special Master, trustee, receiver and arbitrator.  He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver, College of Law, where he teaches financial, management and leadership courses. Ron and his firm are nationally recognized for their specialized support of professional service firm management needs.

Chris D. Treharne founded Gibraltar Business Appraisals, Inc., in 1994. In addition to his prior business valuation experience at a regional appraisal firm, Chris had worked as an executive manager and manager in small start-up companies and Fortune 500 firms. Chris believes that his hands-on practical experience as a manager in a variety of industries benefits his clients. Furthermore, he knows from personal experience the adverse impact on value of owning minority ownership interests in closely held businesses. Chris has served clients throughout the United States. Additionally, he has completed assignments in many different industries, for large corporations and one-owner businesses, plus start-ups and mature companies.
