Term sheets sit at the intersection of business, securities, and deal strategy. For attorneys advising private companies or investors, the ability to understand and evaluate the key terms of an investment is essential.
Led by former SEC Small Business Advocate and DU Law Professor Stacey Bowers, this session breaks down the anatomy of a private company investment term sheet from both the company and investor perspectives. You will learn how the key provisions fit together and what they mean in practice, making the program valuable both for attorneys who regularly handle securities work and for those seeking a clearer framework for reviewing these deals.
