Use the Bargain and Sale Deed document if:

- You are transferring property with a person you are familiar with such as a family member.

- You own a business and you want to buy or sell real property.

You can employ this Deed when transferring ownership between family members or placing the property into a family trust. Also, you can use a Bargain and Sale Deed when you purchase property at a tax or foreclosure sale. Like a Quit Claim Deed, the seller in this document makes no guarantees on the property being transferred.
