Morris B. Hoffman

2nd Judicial District
Honorable Morris B. Hoffman has been a district judge in the Second Judicial District since 1991.  He has sat in all the Court's divisions, served as the presiding judge in its criminal and civil divisions, and presided over the Denver statutory grand jury.  He is chair of the Colorado Supreme Court's Panel on Multidistrict Litigation, a member of the Colorado Supreme Court's Advisory Committee on the Rules of Criminal Procedure, a member of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation's Research Network on Law and Neuroscience, and a research fellow at the Gruter Institute for Law and Behavioral Research.  He writes and teaches in the areas of criminal law, law and neuroscience, jury history, and jury selection.
