Michael A. Smith, Esq., is a Colorado native (actually northwestern Colorado), spent his college years at the University of Denver, returned to Denver after law school at Harvard. Through four different law firms and almost thirty five years, his practice has focused primarily on commercial transactions of all types.  Much of those commercial transactions were loans, representing either the lender or the borrower.  Those transactions have included ranches, ski areas, hotels, golf courses, churches, fraternity houses, apartment buildings, warehouses and factories.
