Todd J. McNamara is a partner with the firm of McNamara & Shechter LLP in Denver. The firm focuses its practice on the representation of employees in all employment-related legal matters. With more than 38 years of experience, Mr. McNamara practices exclusively in the areas of employment law, ERISA, FLSA, and class actions, typically representing employees. Mr. McNamara served as lead counsel and co-counsel in the two largest ADEA class actions successfully resolved within the State of Colorado and has secured numerous recoveries in excess of $1 million for employees. Mr. McNamara is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association. He serves as an arbitrator and mediator for the American Arbitration Association Employment Panel. He is coeditor of Federal Employment Jury Instructions, which is used throughout the United States by both lawyers and judges. Since 2006, he has been named a “Colorado Super Lawyer” in 5280 Magazine and is a fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. He has been named six times to either the “Top 50” or the “Top 100” Lawyers of all practicing attorneys in Colorado.
