J. Michael Morgan, Esq., is a shareholder in Lohf Shaiman Jacobs Hyman & Feiger PC. His practice focuses on representation of oil and gas operators, though he occasionally counsels lessors and surface owners. When not busy with oil and gas, he represents general aviation and commercial service airports. He has been a director and chair of the legal committee of the Colorado Oil and Gas Association, and chairman of the natural resources committee of the Federal Bar Association. Among other things, he has co-authored “Conflict and Accommodation Between Surface Development and Oil and Gas Drilling in Colorado,” 24 Colo. Lawyer 1112 (1995), and “Local Regulation of Oil and Gas Operation in Colorado,” 30 Public Land & Resources Law Digest 335 (1993). He is admitted to practice in Colorado and Wyoming.
