Timothy B. Walker was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1968 and is a member of the California and Indiana Bars. He received his A.B. from Princeton University in 1962, magna cum laude; J.D. from the University of Denver in 1967, magna cum laude, and M.A. from the University of Denver in 1969. He has been a Professor of Law at the University of Denver since 1971. Professor Walker has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America since 1987 and is a Colorado Super Lawyer. He is a managing partner at Walker, Wright & Associates, LLP, in Centennial, Colorado, which limits its practice to Family Law. He served as Chair of the ABA Section of Family Law from 1995-1996 and was a Section Delegate to the House of Delegates from 1999-2012. He served on the ABA Board of Governors from 2012-2015. He is a Fellow of: the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and American Bar Foundation.
