D. Wayne Stewart is the principal of Wayne Stewart Elder Law PC of Denver, a firm emphasizing estate planning and issues affecting the senior citizen, such as long-term care planning, asset protection planning, and probate. He has served the Front Range for 39 years. Mr. Stewart was a
member of the 1976 charter class of the Brigham Young University Law School, and was a founding member and is currently serving on the executive board of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society (Colorado chapter). He is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association, including the Elder Law and Trust and Estate sections. He is a past chair of the Elder Law Section and current member of the Executive Council. He has long been active in the Boy Scouts of America, Denver Area Council, and in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He is married to a wonderful registered nurse/homemaker and is the proud father of five children, all of whom share his love of water skiing, trail running, and road racing.
