Honorable Jeffrey S. English attended Denison University, in Granville, Ohio, for his undergraduate degree and the University of Kansas for my law degree.  He spent approximately 25 years in private practice in the Denver metropolitan area handling mostly domestic and criminal cases.  He started working as a part-time Magistrate in the Jefferson County Small Claims Court in 1992, and has worked in the Denver Drug Court, primarily part-time, since 2002.  Judge Naves appointed him as the Presiding Magistrate in Drug Court approximately three years ago, and he has held that title ever since. He also had stints in the Denver Juvenile Court, Jefferson County Domestic Court and Larimer County Small Claims Court
