Robert R. Duncan, Esq., focuses his practice on assisting governmental agencies acquire, possess and value property for their public projects. He also represents some private landowners in valuation and inverse condemnation matters. During his career beginning in 1978 he has represented the Colorado Department of Transportation, the E-470 Public Highway and the Regional Transportation District in projects such as the completion of I-70, the construction of C-470, the construction of the E-470 Public Highway, the T-REX Project and currently the Fast Tracks Project, as well as representing many cities, towns, and counties and a variety of special districts. One his favorite matters was helping the Denver Metropolitan Major League Baseball Stadium District in acquiring the property necessary to build home plate. During his work he has been involved in many significant eminent domain decisions at the Colorado Court of Appeals and Colorado Supreme Court.
