David K. Isom, Esq. is a Salt Lake City, Utah-based commercial litigator focusing on complex corporate litigation. He has been lead trial counsel in state and federal courts throughout the Western United States. David is also an electronic discovery counsel and consultant who has advised companies throughout the United States and Japan regarding document retention, litigation holds, information security, subpoenas seeking electronically stored information, sanctions and document preservation duties and protocols for U.S. litigation. Until 2009, David was a litigation shareholder and chair of Greenberg Traurig's 70 member international Electronic Discovery Practice Group. He is now of-counsel in the Salt Lake City office of the national law firm Information Law Group. David has published numerous articles and blogs on electronic discovery and was co-editor of the ABA's 2007 book Information Security for Lawyers and Law Firms.
