Nancy Elkind, Esq., is a founding partner of Elkind Alterman Harston PC. She has practiced immigration law for 30 years, and has provided counsel and guidance to hundreds of immigrant families and individuals, as well as to employers that are seeking to hire the “best and the brightest.” Ms. Elkind received her law degree from the University of Denver, after completing a master's in political science at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She has been active locally and nationally in the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Ms. Elkind served as chair of the Colorado Lawyers Committee from 2011 to 2013. The organization does high-impact pro bono work while advocating, negotiating, and litigating for children, the poor, and other disadvantaged groups. She was named “Outstanding Woman in Business 2004” by the The Denver Business Journal, has been honored several times as a Colorado Super Lawyer™, and was named one of the “Top 25 Women Lawyers in Colorado” in 2007 and 2008. She has been cited in the publication The Best Lawyers in America® for 20 years.
