Thomas K. Kane
4th Judicial District
Honorable Thomas K. Kane is a District Court Judge in the Fourth Judicial District (El Paso and Teller County). He graduated with his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in 1974, and his law degree in 1977. He practiced law in Colorado Springs with an emphasis in insurance defense and medical malpractice for 18-years before his appointment to the bench in September 1994. He has been assigned the management of a civil docket for the majority of his time on the bench. He is past President of the El Paso County Bar Association and the Ben Wendleken Inn of Court. He is a longstanding member of both the Supreme Court Committee on Jury Instructions - Civil and the Civil Rules Committee.
