Anne M. Mansfield

2nd Judicial District
Honorable Anne Mansfield (ret.) was appointed by Governor Owens as a District Court Judge in May of 2005 after having served as a District Court Magistrate in Adams County.  She received her BA from The Colorado College in 1971 and her JD from the University of Arizona in 1974.  After admission to practice, Judge Mansfield served as a Deputy District Attorney in the 18th judicial district for 7 years.  Upon leaving the DA's office she practiced in the Denver metropolitan area for over 12 years.  As a trial lawyer, she prosecuted and defended criminal cases in which the death penalty was at issue. Judge Mansfield has served in all rotations of the District Court and retired on January 1, 2014.
