Lynn . Teasley M.A.
Prosody Mediation & Conflict ResolutionLynn Teasley, M.A., is the founder of Prosody Mediation, a conflict resolution practice based in Lakewood, Colorado, specializing in family mediation, landlord-tenant disputes, and workplace conflict resolution. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and a Master's degree in Communication, and brings three years of hands-on experience in Conflict Resolution Facilitation and Restorative Justice to her practice. Lynn's work is grounded in The Prosody Method, a people-centered framework she developed built on the four pillars of deep listening, trauma-informed presence, cultural humility, and restorative outcomes. The name reflects her foundational belief that how something is said matters as much as what is said, a conviction rooted in her Linguistics training and expressed in every session she facilitates. Her session at this year's ADR conference, "You're Not Neutral and That's Okay," draws directly from her research on bias in mediation, which formed the basis of her Master's thesis. Lynn brings both the academic foundation and the lived practice of this work to her conference presentation, offering attendees concrete tools for recognizing how personal and professional bias operates in the mediation room and practical frameworks for using cultural humility to ensure every party receives a genuinely equitable process. Lynn is based in Lakewood, Colorado, serves the greater Denver metro area, and offers remote mediation to clients across the region and beyond.
