Honorable Todd Mackintosh is currently serving as a mediator and arbitrator for JAMS and is a certified mediator through the Colorado Bar Association. Prior to his work with JAMS, Magistrate Mackintosh served as a Magistrate in primarily the civil courts for the City and County of Denver. From June 2020 through October 1, 2026, he presided over Courtroom 117, the Small Claims Court. In Courtroom 117, he implemented a new mediation policy in all cases filed whereby generally all parties in 117 were ordered to attend mandatory mediation, through the Court Mediation Services or a private mediator. Magistrate Mackintosh has practiced law in Denver, Colorado since 1989. He is a former Of Counsel at Wood, Ris and Hames, as well as Hatch Ray. In addition, he was an Associate at Brownstein Hyatt Farber & Schrek, in the Civil Litigation Department, where he focused on commercial litigation, construction litigation and landlord/tenant law. He also served as a Deputy District Attorney for the 18th Judicial District, where he tried over 50 jury trials and hundreds of motions hearings and trials to the court.
