Lucy A. Marsh
Professor Lucy Marsh, Esq., is a Professor of Law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and is admitted to practice in Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. In addition to teaching Trusts & Estates, Property, and Civil Procedure, she is the founder and director of the Tribal Wills Project, which provides free wills, medical powers of attorney, living wills, and memorial instructions for tribal members. To date we have worked on reservations in seven states, [Arizona, California, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, South Dakota, and Utah] - always at the invitation of the tribe or nation involved. Thanks to donations from many lawyers, and the Trust & Estate section of the CBA, I am able to pay for all transportation, housing and food for the volunteer law students accepted for Tribal Wills - usually about 20 students for each of the one-week trips each year. After extensive training at the law school, students are supervised by volunteer lawyers - from Colorado and the various states to which we take the Tribal Wills Project.
