George Simion, Esq., is Associate General Counsel, IP & IP Transactions for TerraPower, LLC, a nuclear innovation company developing advanced nuclear reactors and next generation radioisotopes. He leads the IP / product development legal counsel function, advising clients on product development / feature protection, product licensing, data security / data protection compliance, legal risk mitigation and dispute resolution, and compliance with various government regulations. Before TerraPower, George led IP legal teams at several large enterprise companies in Silicon Valley. Prior to entering legal field, was senior engineer at Idaho National Laboratory and two engineering companies, conducting engineering safety / design studies and developing software applications for NASA/ Space Shuttle Program and various energy and aerospace industries.
