Tim Costello, Esq., is Chief IP Counsel at Monotype, where he leads intellectual property strategy and legal support across the company’s global type and technology portfolio. Over the past several years at Monotype, he has held a series of increasingly senior legal roles spanning commercial contracts, brand protection, licensing, and IP counseling. Prior to returning to Monotype in 2022, Tim served as Corporate Counsel at Avid Technology and began his legal career in private practice in New York. He earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School with a concentration in Intellectual Property, Media, and Information Law, and holds a B.S. in Business Management from Providence College.
