Morgan O'Brien has mediated more than 500 cases covering a wide range of disputes, including landlord/tenant, employment disputes, divorce & post-decree, breach of contract, personal injury, financial agreements, and more. Morgan was named domestic Mediator of the Year for 2019 in Jefferson County. He is a Professional Member of the Mediation Association of Colorado (the MAC) and a contract mediator with the Colorado Judicial Branch's Office of Dispute Resolution (ODR). Morgan has more than 30 years' executive-level experience in business management. He has held senior management positions with divisions of MGM/UA, News America, World Color Press and Advance Publications. His functional expertise includes corporate finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, strategic planning, business valuation, business exit planning and raising capital. He applies this industry expertise to mediations of all kinds. Morgan earned a BA in Journalism from the University of Minnesota and his MBA from Columbia University. He lives with his wife Fern in Boulder, Colorado. He is an avid amateur musician and in 2025 performed at Carnegie Hall in New York as a member of the Longmont Concert Band.
