City and County of Denver Department of Housing StabilityAdam Lyons, Esq., joined the City's Department of Housing Stability (HOST) in June 2021 as the Lead Housing Development Officer managing HOST's pipeline and investments for new construction of both rental and homeownership developments and was promoted the position of Development Director in early 2023. In the role of Development Director, Adam led a team of Housing Development Officers that work closely with affordable housing developers providing a wide range of support and public investments. In early 2025, Adam was promoted to Deputy-Director of Housing Opportunity, overseeing the division within HOST responsible or affordable housing strategy and investments, asset management and compliance, as well as the City's Inclusionary Zoning Policy “Expanding Housing Affordability”. Prior to joining HOST, Adam spent over a decade working on countless affordable housing and community development initiatives, serving communities in both Kentucky and Colorado. Adam holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Political Science from the University of Louisville and is certified as a Housing Development Financial Professional from Grow America (formerly known as the National Development Council).
