MICHAEL A. DAVIS, CSSC, Michael is a Settlement Specialist with Settlement Partners, LLC, a company providing superior settlement services. He has over 40 years of solid business experience with a broad background in finance, management and structured settlements. He began his financial service career in 1979 earning his bachelor's degrees in Finance and Industrial Relations from Purdue University. After college, Michael joined the securities division of Northern Trust Bank in Chicago, Illinois. In the early 1980's he left Northern Trust Bank to become general manager and later regional financial officer for Diversifoods, Inc. During this next several years Michael was instrumental in setting up innovative accounting systems and new controls in the thirteen units in which he was involved. Michael settled in Denver in the late 1980's where he became an independent financial representative. He later joined Smmnit Settlement Services, one of the industry's largest and most prestigious structured settlement firms with offices throughout the nation. In early 1999, he united with Settlement Partners, a member company with Summit and a leading settlement consulting group based in Denver, Colorado, which specializes in the needs of individuals with personal injury or workers compensation claims. During his extensive career Michael's expertise in business planning along with structured settlements has assisted hundreds of individuals in achieving their financial goals. Michael is a member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association. He has successfully achieved the designation of Certified Structured Settlement Consultant fulfilling the postgraduate requirements at Notre Dame University. He is also a founding Member of the Society of Settlement Planners and is an advocate for Plaintiff rights.
