Katie Birckenstaedt, Esq., provides legal and governance services to nonprofits through her firm, KTB Law LLC. Katie is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business where she teaches business law to both undergraduate and MBA students. Previously, she founded and operated the Colorado Nonprofit Legal Center, which provided affordable legal and governance services to nonprofits operating in Colorado. In the past, Katie was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law where she taught Nonprofit Organizations and Corporations. Katie has extensive experience and knowledge in the nonprofit sector and began her career as a nonprofit attorney when she was Corporate Counsel for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
