Jessica Ladd-Webert, LPC (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor and joined the Office of Victim Assistance at the University of Colorado Boulder in October 2007. She was promoted to the Director of the department in January 2012 and then promoted to the Senior Director of Trauma Response in summer 2024. Jessica has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Community Counseling. Before CU Boulder, Jessica has prior advocacy, clinical and administrative work experience at Boulder's sexual assault resource center, as well as a law enforcement victim advocates for the Boulder Sheriff's Office. Jessica has presented locally and nationally on a variety of trauma informed practices. Her career has always focused on crisis and trauma work. As a long time victim advocate and therapist her motivation is "sometimes we have to do the work even though we don't yet see a glimmer on the horizon that it's actually going to be possible." -Angela Davis. As well as her core goal in her work is, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." -Maya Angelou.
