Gablehouse Granberg LLCTimothy Gablehouse, Esq., is an attorney maintaining an environmental practice focused on planning and management of environmental compliance, emergency planning, loss prevention and corrective action projects. This includes active involvement in administration of hazardous materials accident prevention programs, facility security and emergency planning programs, emergency response and community right-to-know programs, and continuity of operations in the face of disaster. These activities include service for eight terms as a Governor's appointee on the Colorado Emergency Planning Commission, with reappointment for an ninth term in January 2010, and chairing the Local Emergency Planning Committee - Citizen Corp Council for Jefferson County. He was a member of the Federal Advisory Committee for EPA on Accident Prevention and a participant in EPA's Presidential Review Stakeholders Conference on EPCRA. Mr. Gablehouse has recently completed his second term as President of the National Association of SARA Title III Program Officials and now serves on the Board of Directors and as Director of Government Relations. He is a member of InfraGard, served two terms on Board of Directors of InfraGard Denver Member's Alliance,Inc., and is currently serving as treasurer. Activities in the growing arena of public-private preparedness partnerships includes serving as President of the Colorado Emergency Preparedness Partnership, Inc. His emergency planning activities have been recognized with the 1994 and 2009 Colorado Emergency Management Association President's award, the inaugural Colorado “Leonard Boulas” Haz Mat Award in 1999, and EPA's Star Performance award in 2004. Besides being a frequent speaker on emergency planning, response planning and community right-to-know issues, he has twice testified before the Commerce Committee of the United States House of Representatives regarding emergency planning and response, and before the Environment and Public Works Committee of the United States Senate regarding the accident investigation and prevention activities of the United States Chemical Safety Board and Environmental Protection Agency.
