Denis P. da Silva

Denis P. da Silva, Esq., (he/him/el) is a Staff Attorney for the Detention Program at the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN), where he represents immigrants in bond and removal proceedings before the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). Prior to joining RMIAN in early 2024, Denis acquired extensive private practice experience in cases involving complex immigration and criminal histories. A member of the State Bar of Arizona and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Denis earned his J.D. from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Arizona State University. Born in Curitiba, Brazil, Denis is a first generation immigrant who also lived in Mexico before immigrating to the United States. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, and conversational in French.
