Jaclyn V. Waara, Esq., (she/her/ella) grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and International Studies: Global Health and the Environment and earned her law degree from the University of Wyoming College of Law in Laramie. Jaclyn is passionate about advocating for trauma-informed practices in the legal system and ending mass incarceration. She is licensed to practice law in New Mexico and began her legal career as a public defender in Santa Fe. Jaclyn speaks Spanish and English.
