Rhonda P. Blair
Rhonda (Povich) Blair, Esq., is a distinguished legal professional with a rich educational and experiential background. Born in Colorado, Rhonda earned a Dual BA in Spanish and Spanish Literature from the University of Guadalajara in 1995 and secured a BA in Political Science from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 1998. After dedicating time as a stay-at-home mom and bartender, Rhonda completed her Juris Doctorate at Concord Law School in 2013. She initially dabbled in the Immigration Law field for two years, and then transitioned her focus as she delved into Social Security hearings near her family farm in Scottsbluff, NE. This led her to establish her own practice specializing in SSI/SSDI claims. In 2021, Rhonda broadened her scope by serving as an Administrative Law Judge for the Louisiana Work Force, Department of Labor, before returning to her specialty in SSI/SSDI in 2022. Throughout her career, Rhonda has advocated for disability claimants in over 5,000 hearings, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to justice and client advocacy. She actively contributes to the legal community by handling SSI/SSDI referrals through Metro Volunteer Lawyers (MVL), volunteering in the MVL Family Law Program, and participating in the MVL Monthly Legal Night at the Denver Indian Center. Rhonda has earned the prestigious Colorado Supreme Court Pro Bono Achievement Award for four consecutive years, recognizing her significant contributions to pro bono work. Outside of the courtroom, Rhonda enjoys traveling, attending numerous concerts, and honing her skills in Krav Maga.
