Emily Morgan is a Primary Patent examiner, and Regional Outreach Advisor for the Rocky Mountain Regional Office of the US Patent and Trademark Office in Denver. Emily examines mechanical arts, including miscellaneous hardware like hinges, handles, casters, and window balances, as well as jewelry arts. Emily has served as a Trainer for new hires at the USPTO, and as a Training Quality Assurance Specialist, in the mechanical arts for Art Unit 3600. She joined the USPTO in 2007, directly after graduating from Virginia Tech with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
