Daniel M. Taubman

Daniel M. Taubman served as a judge on the Colorado Court of Appeals from March 1993 to February 2020. Prior to his appointment, Judge Taubman was the director of the Colorado Coalition of Legal Services Programs. He is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association's Appellate Practice Subcommittee and the Ethics Committee. Now an emeritus member of the Colorado Access to Justice Commission, he served on the commission from 2004 to 2020. Judge Taubman helped establish the CBA's Appellate Pro Bono Program in 2010. In addition, he co-chaired the CBA's Modest Means Task Force from 2012 to 2016. Judge Taubman received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University in 1969 and his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1974.
