Dill Dill Carr Stonbraker & Hutchings PCRobert A. Dill, Esq. concentrates his practice in the areas of complex civil litigation, business law and liquor and gaming licensing. During his more than 25 years of practice, he has represented private and public companies, as well as individuals in connection with complex civil litigation. He previously served as a prosecutor in the office of the Arapahoe County District Attorney and has tried over 100 cases to verdict, including prosecution and defense of several high profile civil and criminal cases. Mr. Dill represents a number of medical marijuana centers/dispensaries, optional grow premises, as well as medically infused products facilities. He has helped draft the legislation known as House Bill 1284, which ultimately was signed by the Governor on June 7, 2010, which provides for a comprehensive regulatory scheme to be enforced by the Medical Marijuana Enforcement Division (MMED) of the State of Colorado as well as local government. Mr. Dill has worked extensively with regulators at the state and local levels who will be administering House Bill 1284 and its amendments. He has also worked with various city and county attorneys as well as the State Medical Marijuana Enforcement Division for the State of Colorado. Mr. Dill was appointed by the Director of the Medical Marijuana Enforcement Division to the Medical Marijuana Advisory Board in July 2010 to meet with state officials for the purpose of enacting regulatory interpretation of the medical marijuana laws. He has extensive business experience as it relates to the formation of limited liability companies, corporations, and other business entities formed for the express purpose of being licensed to sell, grow, and distribute medical marijuana, infused products, and the growth of medical marijuana in the State of Colorado. A significant portion of Mr. Dill's practice is devoted to the representation of liquor-licensed businesses. They include restaurants, bars, sports venues, entertainment facilities, hotels, casinos, and liquor stores. He also focuses his practice on gaming and racing matters before the Colorado Division of Limited Gaming Commission and the Colorado Racing Commission. Mr. Dill is currently a member of the International Association of Gaming Attorneys and the International Masters of Gaming Law.
