Stephen P. Rickles is a partner in the law firm of Spencer Fane LLP, and a member of its Employee Benefits, and Tax, Trust and Estates Practice Groups. Mr. Rickles's employee benefits practice focuses on advising businesses, tax exempt organizations, governmental entities, and individuals on all aspects of establishing, operating, and maintaining the legal compliance of retirement and other employee benefits plans, ESOPs, stock option plans, and executive compensation arrangements. He is a member of the Pacific Coast Area Tax Exempt and Governmental Entities Council, the Denver Tax Association, and the Rocky Mountain Estate Planning Council. Mr. Rickles is a 1970 graduate of Boston University (B.A., government), a 1975 graduate of the University of Denver College of Law (J.D.), and a 1980 graduate of the University of Denver Graduate Tax Program (LL.M.).
