David R. DeMuro, Esq., has practiced in the area of civil litigation in state and federal courts in Colorado for over thirty years.  He is a partner in the Denver office of Vaughan & DeMuro.  Previously, he was with other private firms and was a First Assistant Attorney General with the Colorado Attorney General's Office.  Mr. DeMuro's current practice consists primarily of the defense of public entities, private employers and insurers, especially on employment and constitutional claims, and in commercial litigation. Mr. DeMuro is author of a treatise on civil litigation, Colorado Civil Trial Practice, which was published as Volume 6 of West's Colorado Practice Series.  He has been a member of the Colorado Supreme Court's Advisory Committee on the Rules of Civil Procedure for twenty years.   He is also the chairperson of the Colorado Supreme Court's Advisory Committee on the Rules of Evidence.
