Christie A. Bachmeyer
1st Judicial District
Honorable Chris Bachmeyer graduated from the University of Colorado Law School in 1989, and was a litigation associate in a civil firm for four years. She moved to the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office in 1993, and was promoted to chief deputy in 2004. Judge Bachmeyer tried approximately 150 jury trials while a deputy district attorney. In August 2009, she was appointed to the 1st Judicial District Court in Golden, and presides over a mixed docket of domestic relations, criminal and civil matters.
