John H. Tatlock, Esq., is a shareholder at Epstein Patierno, LLP, and concentrates his practice on complex family law litigation and appeals, especially those involving significant assets, the business components of dissolution cases, and complex legal and litigation challenges. John has more than 20 years of experience representing clients in federal and state courts on complex litigation matters involving significant commercial disputes, mass torts, product liability claims, and securities fraud. In addition, he has represented private equity firms in fund formation negotiations, mergers and acquisitions of fund portfolio companies, and corporate governance issues. Super Lawyers in 2017 named John one of its Top 100 Colorado lawyers, and he has also been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America in 2014 through 2020 in Family Law, and is a twelve-time Colorado Super Lawyer - for Family Law from 2012 through 2021, and Business Litigation in 2006 and 2007. John is a graduate of Wichita State University, a former Teaching-Research Fellow in Political Science at the University of Iowa, and a graduate of the University of Denver College of Law. He was a member of the Political Science faculty at the University of Houston and, later, a public policy and government relations specialist at a large, multinational energy company.
