William (Bill) Berger, Esq., focuses on the representation of employers in labor and employment matters. Bill has extensive litigation experience including federal and state court litigation, grievances, labor arbitrations, and administrative agency actions before the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Colorado Civil Rights Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, the Department of Labor, and other agencies involved in labor and employment law. Bill's practice includes assisting employers in preventive labor and employment matters, such as litigation avoidance and general business and personnel practices and policies. Bill was on the faculty of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law teaching these topics from 2001 to 2011 and sat by appointment of the Colorado Supreme Court on the Board of Law Examiners from 1998-2013. He has been a member of the Board of Governors for the Colorado Bar Association where he has served on its Executive Council and its Budget Committee. Bill is a frequent lecturer and author on labor and employment topics. Bill authored a regular column for the Denver Business Journal, "Labor Law." He continues to be a Contributing Editor to The Developing Labor Law and has been a Practitioner Contributor to Black's Law Dictionary. Bill frequently appears on 850 KOA as a legal commentator. Bill has been selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America and in Chambers USA, America's Leading Business Lawyers, Labor & Employment, as well as 5280 magazine's Top Lawyers.
