John P. (Jep) Seman, Jr., Esq. is co-founder and principal of Corporate Advocates and
Chair of the firm’s Government Relations Practice. An attorney, Mr. Seman has more than
25 years of experience representing a broad range of corporate, association and not for profit
clients in front of federal, state and local legislative and regulatory decision makers. His
practice focuses on strategy development and direct policy advocacy as well as
administrative law and litigation for a variety of clients, including the oil and gas and
automobile manufacturing industries. Mr. Seman is a veteran of Capitol Hill in Washington
DC where he served on the professional staff of former U.S. Senator Gary Hart and as Staff
Counsel to the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. Mr. Seman is a
Colorado native and received his undergraduate and Juris Doctorate degrees from the
University of Colorado.
