Tara Johnson, LLP, is a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP) and the Senior Paralegal at Gendelman Klimas Edwards, Ltd., where she supports the attorneys in their practice of family law, probate, estate planning, civil litigation and criminal defense. Tara's professional legal career began in 2006. She earned her certification as a Legal Secretary from the Beverly Hills Bar Association, followed by her Paralegal Certificate from California State University. Upon relocating to Colorado in 2012, and prior to joining Gendelman Klimas, Ltd., Tara was the office manager and senior paralegal for Carlson Edwards, Attorneys at Law. She was part of the inaugural class of professionals who passed the April 2024 LLP exam and was admitted before the Supreme Court of Colorado in June of 2024. This licensure allows her to provide limited legal services in certain types of domestic relations cases in Colorado while promoting access to justice.
