After being affiliated with various firms in the Denver area, including as a shareholder of Gelt Paddison & Grassgreen, P.C., Jane Caddell Paddison is now a sole practitioner and has her office in Boulder. Ms. Caddell Paddison has been practicing for 30 years in the areas of federal and state taxation, with a special emphasis in the estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax areas. She has represented clients in tax planning as well as tax controversy matters before the United States Tax Court, the Internal Revenue Service, and local taxing authorities. She received her J.D. from University of New Hampshire School of Law in 1985, and her LL.M. in taxation from Boston University in 1989. Ms. Caddell Paddison has a rating of “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating for excellence of practice and ethical standards, and is included in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers for 2010. Ms. Caddell Paddison is a former column editor of the Trust and Estate Law column for The Colorado Lawyer, and has been a lecturer at numerous continuing legal education programs. Ms. Caddell Paddison is the current co-chair of the legal committee for the Community Foundation of Boulder.
