Steven Portenga, PhD, is a licensed psychologist with a clinical and forensic practice. He has been qualified as an expert in multiple judicial districts in Colorado, and has performed over two thousand evaluations, including for veterans through the VA. Prior to practicing in this area, Dr. Portenga was the director of sports psychology in the Division of Athletics and Recreation at the University of Denver. He was also responsible for managing the executive committee and all aspects of sports psychology service delivery for USA Track & Field.
