Sara A. Henry

Cherry Creek Fiduciary Services, LLC
Sara A. Henry, Esq., grew up in La Jolla, California and following in her father’s footsteps she has been an estate planning lawyer for 32 years. In addition to California, Sara was a licensed attorney in several other states (UT and CO) for a number of years until she retired those licenses upon returning to CA in 2008. Sara is also a current member of the US Supreme Court Bar Association having been sworn in by the Justices in 2001. Sara also has substantial experience in the wine industry. She owned her own wine store in Park City, UT (“The Art of Wine”) and was the first retail business in the state to receive a state issued permit to teach nightly wine tasting classes both for private parties such as during Sundance Film Festival and in her store. Thereafter, she relocated to Napa, CA to pursue wine on a full-time basis, becoming a manager and staff wine educator at Domaine Carneros Winery. Even though Sara eventually returned to legal work she continued to work at various wineries including Stags Leap Winery, Cakebread Cellars and Melville Winery. Sara received her Certified Specialist of Wine certification in 2009 through the Society of Wine Educators and she presently owns UnKork Denver where she provides private wine tasting classes for business and social parties. Sara’s two passions, law and wine, merged in 2010 when she began offering private fiduciary services in addition to her legal practice. Sara immediately began receiving referrals for cases that involved in addition to other assets, vineyards. As a professional fiduciary Sara has now been appointed by various CA Superior Court judges to handle administrations in Santa Barbara County, Sonoma County and Napa County. Sara relocated to CO in 2018 where she continues her fiduciary practice under the name of Cherry Creek Fiduciary Services. She is currently accepting complex and often litigated administration cases in both CA and CO.  She is also accepting cases in need of expert witness testimony involving breach of fiduciary duty claims and has been designated as an expert witness in this specialty by the CA Superior Court.
